Judy Whittaker, BA, MSc (United Kingdom)

Judy Whittaker is the Senior Consultant for the Chartered Institute of Personnel and Development, specialising in developing international membership and qualifications for the Institute. Judy worked as the Director (Membership and Education) of the Chartered Institute of Personnel and Development up until September, 2005. She worked at the CIPD, formerly the Institute of Personnel Management, for 18 years. A Modern Languages Graduate with a Masters Degree from Sheffield Business School in Organisation Development, she is a Chartered Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Personnel and Development. Prior to joining the CIPD, she worked in higher education where she taught on a range of post experience and postgraduate programmes in the area of Human Resource Management. Before coming into higher education, Judy Whittaker worked as a Personnel and Training Manager in industry and retail distribution. On behalf of the CIPD, Judy led the project for the World Federation of Personnel Management Associations on global HR competencies and professional standards.
