Regina Mulder, Ph.D. (Germany)

Regina Mulder is professor of Pedagogy (Educational Science) at the University of Regensburg (Germany). The profile of her professorship includes the analysis, design and evaluation of vocational education and training, with a special focus on learning at the workplace.
She was Vice Director of RISBO (Rotterdam Institute of Social Policy Research) at the University of Rotterdam (The Netherlands).
Her research includes themes such as; evaluation of learning environments in Vocational Education and Training in general, and for specific target groups (such as potential drop outs, unemployed, elderly employees); instructional design (e.g. problem based learning, self-directed learning); drop-out, retention and school careers in vocational education; development of training programs in companies; learning organisations; discrepancies between education and labour market; informal learning at the workplace (e.g. learning from failures or feedback).





The conference was held on October 9 - 10 - 11, 2006 in Amsterdam
